Mould Control |
CX Concrobium - a revolutionary new weapon in the battle against mould. Cleans and eliminates mould and prevents it coming back.
Controlling mould following flooding or water damage:
CX Concrobium can be used throughout a mould remediation or water damage restoration job to ensure successful abatement and long-term prevention;
- As an initial step, apply CX Concrobium to the entire area to encapsulate and kill the fungal spores and prevent further contamination.
- Use CX Concrobium in combination with a cloth or brush to remove stains from surfaces where desired.
- Fog CX Concrobium into inaccessible areas where mould is found or suspected and where removal of building materials is not practical, after the site has been cleaned and refinished, apply CX Concrobium throughout the treated area to leave an additional level of protection against mould growth.
Pre-treatment of building materials for mould resistance:
Regardless of the type of building material - drywall, timber, plaster, concrete, fibreboard, chipboard, decking, metal, marble, tile, grout, - mould is a risk. Pre-treat with CX Concrobium Mould Control to prevent and protect against mould. CX Concrobium can be applied by spraying, fogging wiping or immersing. Apply a thin even coat of CX Concrobium to the surface and allow to dry thoroughly. Once dry use CX Concrobium to clean any residual staining. Treat cosmetically with paint, varnish or other products if required. Leave thin even coating of CX Concrobium on surface to provide protection against mould.
Coverage – coverage varies according to surface porosity and application method. Typical coverage: Fogging – 25 - 30 sq mtrs per litre Spray – 12 -18 sq mtrs per litre Dip – 15 - 18 sq mtrs per litre Expect reduced coverage on high absorbent surfaces – timber, unpainted drywall, fabrics.
