Getting rid of smells and getting rid of the causes of smells with Airx 3-Dimensional Professional Grade Odour Control
I want to solve my odour problems associated with:
The key to successful odour control is making sure that the source of the problem is eliminated as well as the airborne odour you smell. The source of an odour will come from either a surface when something has stuck to it or from below the surface where something has seeped through. Airicide®, the key ingredient in all products, modifies the geometry of foul odour molecules to change how they are recognised within the nose. Using odour counteractants, cleansing agents and disinfectants all with Airicide® you can control airborne, surface and subsurface odours.
Dealing with odours from fire:
Smoke has the ability to get behind walls, floors and ceilings. Firstly get rid of any burned or charred materials which are causing the odours, then clean all surfaces with XSA All purpose cleaner which contains Airicide® deodoriser. Since wood acts like a sponge, any open wood surfaces should be painted or sealed. If not sealed the smell of smoke will permeate back out again.
Next, put an exhaust fan in one end of the space i.e. loft/attic/roof space and fog RX60 Super Strength Foul Odour Eliminator in the cellar/basement or in the ground floor rooms. The key is to draw the RX60 up through the building, including the dead air spaces behind the walls, following the path of the smoke.
Dealing with odours from damp and water residues:
Once the clean-up is completed, thoroughly wet the floor surface with RX66 Bio-Enzymatic Sub-Surface Odour Digester and allow to stay wet for 1-3 hours. This will generate a colony of "good" bacteria that will feed on and consume all the bacteria in the fluids that have migrated into the flooring.
To erase the airborne damp odours, place RXSent1 Sentinel Heavy Duty Refillable Odour Control cabinets fitted with RX19 heavy duty continuous deodoriser microcell blocks in each affected room. Place RX17 Continuous Deodoriser microcell pots in confined areas where damp odours linger i.e. cupboards. Spray diluted RX60 Foul Odour Eliminator on all hard surfaces. Fog or spray diluted RX60 Foul Odour Eliminator regularly in all affected rooms. The RX60 will carry to every part of the room.
When the conditions are favourable mildew fungus spores multiply to create a nauseous odour that is instantly recognisable. The key to eliminating mildew and mould odours problem is to kill the bacterial growth. See "Mould Control Solutions for Construction" for using CX Concrobium to get rid of mould and preventing the regrowth of fungal spores.
