Controlling Mould around the home
Mould spores on tile grout around baths and shower stalls, musty basements, mildew around windows and in laundry rooms, winter build up of mould in the caravan or boat… sound familiar? Many of our homes have indoor mould leaving a lot of families exposed to its effects, which range from itchy eyes and runny noses to serious respiratory ailments like asthma and sinusitis. For decades the answer has been sodium hypochlorite (household bleach) and water. We scrub mouldy surfaces with bleach solutions, and then a few weeks later we do it all over again, because bleach isn't effective against mould - especially on porous surfaces like drywall and grout. It temporarily cleans the surface, but leaves the roots of mould intact and ready to sprout. It's time to ditch the bleach - it just doesn't make sense to fight one toxic pest with another. That's where CX Concrobium technology comes in. It's proven to eliminate mould – and then remain on the surface to prevent re-growth. And this unique 2 in 1 solution contains no bleach (or any other VOCs – volatile organic compounds).

- Allow to dry overnight.
- Clean any remaining mould stains and residue with a cloth dampened with CX Concrobium.

For heavily soiled areas, a pre-cleaning is required. Do not use bleach-based cleaners as they may reduce product effectiveness. If surface is subsequently painted or coated with another substance reapply CX Concrobium to ensure protection against mould. Use on finished and unfinished surfaces, including fabrics (test for colourfastness) wipe surfaces susceptible to water marks immediately after contact with CX Concrobium.
