Getting rid of smells and getting rid of the causes of smells with Airx 3-Dimensional Professional Grade Odour Control

The key to successful odour control is making sure that the source of the problem is eliminated as well as the airborne odour you smell. The source of an odour will come from either a surface when something has stuck to it or from below the surface where something has seeped through. Airicide®, the key ingredient in all products, modifies the geometry of foul odour molecules to change how they are recognised within the nose. Using odour counteractants, cleansing agents and disinfectants all with Airicide® you can control airborne, surface and subsurface odours.
Dealing with urine & faeces odours:
Many of the odours pervading washrooms and bathrooms permeate from proteins and bacteria thriving sub-surface. All the products needed to fully deodorise a 6-8 urinal washroom and by killing sub-surface bacteria, keep it smelling fresh for months, are included in our
Procedure:
- Spray 3 to 5 sprays of RX23 Ultra Concentrate Super Strength Foul Odour Eliminator into the air pointing towards the corners of the room. This will eliminate airborne urine odours while the full de-odorisation programme is completed.
- Dilute 1 part XSA All Purpose Cleaner with 20 parts water and wash down walls, splash backs, urinals, floors, washbasins, toilets.
- Spray RX66 Bio-Enzymatic Sub-Surface Odour Digester liberally onto walls, splash backs, urinals and toilets. Flood floors and allow to stay wet for 2 - 3 hours. This allows the good bacteria time to penetrate below the surface and produce sufficient enzymes to consume the organic matter that produce the foul smells.
- Re-spray all treated areas with RX66.
- Pour 50ml of RX32 fast acting bio-enzymatic drain opener down each drain, toilet, sink & urinal having first removed as much water as practical. RX32 will digest odour producing matter in the pipes and create a bio-film on the inside of drain lines to prevent the build up of odour producing bacteria.
- Place 2 x RXSent1 Heavy Duty Refillable Odour Control cabinets fitted with RX19 Heavy Duty Continuous Deodoriser Microcell blocks in the room. The microcells continue to operate 100% of the time, 24 hours a day to erase any airborne odours from the daily use of the toilets. RX19 heavy duty microcells are effective for 45 to 60 days in toilet applications.
- Repeat steps 1 to 4 daily until odours are digested - 1 or 2 applications is frequently sufficient.
- Repeat steps 1 to 5 monthly.
Dealing with soap scum and hard water build up:
On scummy, hard surfaces in shower rooms and in bathrooms use RX71 Acidulated Foam Cleaner concentrate - a super concentrated, high foam, acidulated liquid surfactant which needs to be diluted up to 30:1 to remove soap scum, lime scale, corrosion, rust, hard water deposits & mildew stains. RX71 is a highly concentrated liquid cleaner that generates 150 times its original volume of a rich foam which clings to vertical surfaces. It won't run away from the toughest cleaning job and soil literally disappears under the RX71 foam, without hard scrubbing.
RX77 is a safer, non-acid disinfectant cleaner and odour counteractant that replaces high-acid bowl cleaners. Can be used both inside and outside the bowl and urinal, and because it contains no acids it can be used safely on toilet seats, tile, terrazzo, chrome, aluminium, stainless steel, glass and other surfaces requiring cleaning, disinfecting and deodorising.
