Breaks down heavy build-up of oils, fats, grease and grime. Suitable for cleaning internal & external hard surfaces and as pre-treatment on very greasy carpets.
DESCRIPTION:
XSG Grease and Grime Digester is designed to work both as part of the Micrionix™ Dirt Control cleaning programme for carpets and soft furnishings and also to be used to break down heavy accumulations of grease and grime on a wide range of internal and external hard surfaces. It is highly effective in dissolving a wide range of grease or oil based dirt by a process similar to saponification.
USES:
XSG can be used as a pre-treatment on all types of carpet fibres where grease deposits have accumulated. Particularly effective in breaking down food spillages on carpets in restaurant and food serving areas. Also breaks down 'bar black' on carpet.
On hard surfaces where grease and oil attracts dirt, the ability of XSG to safely dissolve the oily deposits with minimum agitation aids cleaning of a wide range of surfaces including trains and road vehicles.
DIRECTIONS:
For carpets do not dilute. Shake well before use. Fill pump sprayer and spray onto affected areas. Allow 15 minutes for XSG to break down grease deposits. For heavy soiling remove with a damp ZM17S microfibre floor pad under a slow speed 175-250 rpm floor machine. For 'over dirty' carpets apply a light spray 5 minutes before applying XSU.
For non porous hard surfaces XSG may be diluted with up to 2 parts water. To remove grease and grime from hard surfaces apply XSG with sprayer or foamgun and allow to sit for several minutes. Agitate with a brush and wipe off with microfibre cloth. Rinse with plain water.
Note – to maximise contact time on vertical surfaces do not dilute and apply with foam sprayer.
CAUTIONS!
Test fabrics for colourfastness in an inconspicuous area. Take care not to damage pile on delicate fabrics like velvet or dralon by over rubbing.
