Micrionix® + License and Micrionix® and Airicide® Trade Mark User Agreement

 

 

 

The Micrionix® and Airicide® trade marks are how your customers will differentiate your business offering from other service and product suppliers and add significant value to what you provide. The products and services covered by these brands reflect many years of product development and establishing the 'know-how' of satisfying customer's needs.

 

 

 

You operate your business under your own name as an "Authorised Micrionix® and Airicide® distributor". The right to operate a Micrionix® + business and use the Micrionix® and Airicide® Trade Marks are controlled by the " Micrionix® + License and Micrionix® and Airicide® Trade Mark User Agreement". This simple agreement requires that you only supply Micrionix® and Airicide® products when providing products or services under these brands. The first year's license fee is included in your initial fee.

 

 

 

The license is renewed annually if you want to continue to utilise the brands in your business. If you decide that you do not want to continue with the license you simply give notice and cease to use the brands in anything to do with your business. And if you decide not to continue with using the brands, because you trade under your own business name, unlike a franchise the value you build up in your business belongs to you.

 

 

 

Other than purchasing your Micrionix® and Airicide® products from Xeria, the annual license fee of £50 per month (= £10 + vat per week) is the only ongoing payment – we do not charge a percentage of profit, no royalties, no management fees or sales related fees.

Xeria Business Operating System - XBOS

 

 

 

 

Success in business depends to a great extent on having the correct systems and procedures in place. Xeria have spent many years developing operating systems and guides for business start-ups and franchises, culminating in the Xeria Business Operating System – XBOS. Just like the operating system in a computer XBOS is responsible for management and co-ordination of activities and resources in the business. XBOS is designed to incorporate the expertise and knowledge to enable individuals new to business to make it work in practice. With our Business Operating System you can capitalise on the 'how to' without the restrictions normally associated with franchising.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Training

 

 

 

 

Your 4 day training package includes all the basics of running your own business from start up, through book-keeping to finding and keeping customers. Your Xeria Business Operating System 'how to' training can be applied to any business so will be fully transportable. Product and service training will enable you to solve your customers dirt and odour control problems.

 

 

 

If you decide in the future to operate a business in a different sector the skills learnt during training and while operating your business can easily be adapted to many alternative businesses.

Equipment

 

 

 

 

All the specialist equipment you need to clean carpets, curtains, upholstery and the common hard floor types will cost you around £2000 including VAT. You can either purchase this direct from Command Environmental Control Ltd or you can shop around locally for equivalent products. The basic equipment package includes all the equipment you need to clean carpets, curtains, upholstery together with vinyl and laminate hard floors. The equipment is suitable for domestic and light/medium commercial applications and can easily be handled by female operators.

 

 

 

 

You do not need a specialist vehicle to operate a Micrionix® + business. A small van in the Peugeot Partner/VW Caddy size is usually all you need. Because you are operating under your own business name you choose the make, the colour, the age and as a business user you qualify for some of the great deals currently on offer by van dealers.

 

 

 

 

 

The Micrionix® + business concept is not expected to exceed annual sales, at least not for the first 2 years, in excess of £67,000 so you do not need to register for VAT. All start up costs quoted are inclusive of VAT at 15%.

 

 

 

The business can be run on a sole trader or partnership basis so you do not need to consider the constraints of Limited Company registration.

The amount you can earn from a Micrionix® + business is limited only by your ambition. If you are looking to work part time the returns are limited by the hours you dedicate to the job. The more you work the greater the returns. If you expand the business and employ others to do the actual cleaning the greater those returns will be. We do not restrict you to a set territory or certain types of customers. The number of potential customers is vast and you can choose which type of customer in which area you will target your business.
